Colors of my mind

It is brown
Brown like hot chocolate
When you warm my heart

It is yellow
Yellow like sunflower petals
When you make me happy

It is purple
Purple like dye
When you treat me like royalty

It is red
Red like fire flames
To show the excitment of my heart
And how you keep it burning

It is blue
Blue as the skies
Showing my calm state of mind.

I wonder if you would have still said the same thing, if I included colors for jealousy and anger (which I wanted to, but couldn't find the words..).

  7. And green? What about green? How could you leave out green? And white too? How unpatriotic is that??

Apart from that minor quibble... very good! Now all you have to do is to compose a tune to go with those lyrics... and then we can feel your song instead!

And here I was thinking you were so totally in control of your emotions, I could call you clinical. How little one knows. Great lines.
