...ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country...
By John F Kennedy
This was part of JFK's inaugural address to Americans, and its one of my favorite quotes.

Hence my Naija people...we already know our country isn't going to do much (if anything at all) for us, so lets do something for Nigeria.

That's something I greatly believe in -- unlike most Nigerians I don't intend to hang around here when I'm done with my studies.
Most Nigerians are either too dense, too selfish or just too ignorant to understand (or even want to listen to) that great speech.
Azuka, look before you leap. What is your field? The brutal truth is that at the moment, depending on your field you may be of more use to Nigeria OUTSIDE Nigeria in the long run...
@ Azuka,
I greatly believe in that too.
@ Chxta,
I feel you.
Nowadays I really don't care where Ngerians are as long as they are doing something (no matter how small) for Nigeria.
Nilla, I saw your comment. Do you have Yahoo messenger? My id is zahymaka.
Chxta,
Hopefully, I'll be an electrical engineer -- if my transfer from here goes through...
I am an Electrical Engineer by first degree, but my flair is in IT, hence the current Masters.
Do you know that in Nassarawa you can get enough sunlight to power the entire Eastern part of Nigeria on solar power alone?
If only I had capital. I can only see the large solar farm...
Good...oya Chxta and Azuka Nigeria needs you more "in Nigeria" than "outside Nigeria" :-) (After your degrees of course).
